The perfect place to host your event

 

Light and airy, the hall has the capacity to seat 150 guests, or 225 standing, making it the perfect venue for weddings/celebrations and corporate events. We have a permanent bar, which opens into the main hall and our large kitchen is equipped to commercial standards. We regularly receive complementary comments from visiting caterers, not only regarding the level to which it is equipped, but also in terms of the size of the facilities. The kitchen has a serving area, which opens into the main hall to facilitate serving hot and cold food and drinks.

 

Wi-Fi is available throughout the hall at no additional cost to the hirer. There is ample parking within the grounds and disabled access. The hall is only a short walk along a quiet byway from the beautiful village church – St Michael and All Angels and the wonderful community owned Kings Arms Public House.

“Having booked Stockland Village Hall for our wedding reception, we were nothing but impressed with the venue. Throughout the entire process from booking to the actual event, everything ran smoothly and we have no complaints whatsoever.  We chose the option to have the muslin drapes erected and needless to say this created a beautiful touch to the room. We had many compliments and the lighting in the evening just looked lovely. The hall catered well for our 100 day guests for a sit down meal and then onto the evening with 140 guests to include a DJ encouraging us all to enjoy the beautiful dance floor.

We used outside caterers for our event, who have catered many times at the village hall. The kitchen has everything they could possibly have needed, as well as all the cutlery and place setting items for the meal.  We could not be happier with our day and the hall looked exactly as we had imagined. We would 100% recommend the hall to anyone looking for a perfect, modern and well-equipped wedding venue. Thank you to everyone involved.”
